Koneballers Become Engaged
The MKA is proud to announce today that Koneball player Mikyla Janzen and future Koneball champ Dave Peters have are officially engaged as of February 7th, 2012. The great news comes after just over a year of dating, since about the time the MKA was established. Details are not known of how the engagement came to be, but sources say it started with a limo ride and ended in her saying "YES!".Dave Peters played in the 2011 Exhibition games in the MKA before he finished school for the year in Steinbach, Manitoba and moved back to Walsingham, Ontario to work for the summer. He promises to make his Koneball return this March to take on the rest of the MKA in the Rampage tournament.
Mikyla is most known for the fact her, along side Melissa Favell, were the first females to play FIKA sanctioned games in the entire world. This all-girls team did well in doubles, but were also formidable in singles play. FIKA expresses their congratulations to the engaged couple, and hopes you have a prosperous year kicking it to the kone!
